Fortnite Surveillance Cameras Quest in Chapter Five, Season Four
As with many Fortnite quests, this one adds a quirky challenge to help you progress through the battle pass. In this case, you’ll be tasked with a bit of virtual vandalism by taking out surveillance cameras—but don't try this in real life! Thankfully, you can embrace your rebellious side within the game.
However, not just any camera will work. You need to destroy specific ones in a particular location on the map.
Where to Find Surveillance Cameras in Fortnite?
The surveillance cameras you're hunting are located only in Doomstadt, a point of interest on the map in Chapter Five, Season Four. You can find Doomstadt between Rebel’s Roost and Doom’s Courtyard. Although the quest tracker will lead you to the general area, it won’t pinpoint the exact location of the cameras.
The best place to start is the center of Doomstadt, near the statue and Mysterio’s spawn point, where you'll find three cameras in the courtyard. To destroy them, you can use any weapon or simply whack them with your Pickaxe—it only takes a few hits.
Be careful, though. The biggest threat will be other players and Mysterio himself, who will become hostile once you’re spotted. While you can take out Mysterio first, the next quest in the line requires his elimination, so it’s more efficient to focus on destroying the cameras first and deal with him afterward.
Camera Locations in Doomstadt
To locate the cameras, look around the sides of buildings, especially above doorways and near corners. Since Doomstadt doesn't have a huge number of cameras, you may need to play a few matches to complete the quest if other players are targeting the same ones.
