The Realme GT Neo 6, powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset and supporting 120W fast charging, made its debut in May 2024. Now, Realme appears to be gearing up for the launch of its successor, the Realme GT Neo 7, by the end of this year, according to leaks from a Chinese tipster.

Though the Chinese tech giant hasn't officially confirmed the details, the upcoming Realme GT Neo 7 is expected to feature an overclocked version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC and compete with rival devices like the iQOO Neo 10 Pro, OnePlus Ace 5 Pro, and the upcoming Redmi K80, which is rumored to launch in November. The Realme GT Neo 7 could become a "price killer" in the market, offering competitive specs at a lower price point.

Popular Chinese tipster Smart Pikachu recently shared key details of the Realme GT Neo 7 on Weibo, claiming the device will launch by the end of 2024. According to the leak, the GT Neo 7 will sport a 1.5K resolution display and an enhanced Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset with overclocked CPU cores. While the tipster did not mention the exact battery size, he suggested the phone would feature a larger battery than its predecessor, supporting 100W fast charging.

With its competitive pricing and performance, the Realme GT Neo 7 is expected to take on similar flagship-level smartphones in the Chinese market, such as the iQOO Neo 10 Pro and OnePlus Ace 5 Pro.
